     On October 26, 2023, there were two very sad events in the state of Maine in the USA. In the first one, at a Walmart in Fairfield, around 10:30 in the morning, some people heard many gunshots. The police found some people hurt and killed in the store, but the person who did it was gone.
     In the second event, at about 11:30 in the morning in Winslow, a person with a gun went to a school and started shooting at students and teachers. This was very tragic, and at least 16 people, including kids, lost their lives. The person with the gun ran away from the school.
     The police are trying to find out why these terrible things happened and if they are related. They are asking anyone who knows anything about these events to tell them.Â
