Navratri 8th Day Mantra
The following mantra is dedicated to Goddess Mahagauri:
“Om Ya Devi Sarva Bhuteshu Maa Mahagauri Rupena Samsthita Namah.“
This mantra can be chanted repeatedly throughout the day, especially during the puja ritual.
Method of worship of Maa Mahagauri
The following is a simple method of worshiping Maa Mahagauri on the 8th day of Navratri:
- Cleanse the area where you will be performing the puja.
- Place an idol or picture of Maa Mahagauri on a pedestal.
- Decorate the idol or picture with flowers, garlands, and incense sticks.
- Light a diya (oil lamp) and place it in front of the idol or picture.
- Offer prayers to Maa Mahagauri and chant the mantra mentioned above.
- You can also offer fruits, sweets, and other prasad to Maa Mahagauri.
- After the puja, distribute the prasad to your family and friends.
