The game takes place 13 years after the events of the first game, and follows Alan Wake as he investigates a new mystery in the town of Bright Falls, Washington. The game features a mix of survival horror, psychological thriller, and action elements.

Gameplay

Alan Wake 2 is played from a third-person perspective. The player controls Alan Wake as he explores the town of Bright Falls and its surroundings. The player must use light to defeat the game’s enemies, which are known as Shadows.
