Navratri Colors 2023 in sequence


Wealth and wishes arrive on the first day, which is dedicated to the goddess Shailputri. On this day, orange is worn to symbolise luck and benefits.

Pratipada (October 15, 2023) – Orange

On the second day, praise is offered to Goddess Brahmacharini for enlightenment and wisdom. White is her chosen color since it stands for enlightenment and purity.

Sashti (October 20, 2023) – Green

The seventh day is dedicated to Kalaratri, the fierce manifestation of Durga. Grey denotes toughness and resiliency and stands for the victory of knowledge over ignorance.

Saptami (October 21, 2023) – Grey

Mahagauri is worshipped on day eight. She is reputed to bestow calmness and endurance upon her devotees. Purple, a color that stands for holiness, serenity, and divinity, is her favorite.

Ashtami (October 22, 2023) – Purple

The ninth day is dedicated to the spiritual power bearer Goddess Siddhidatri. Her achievements and wealth are well admired. Her favorite color, peacock green, symbolizes knowledge, wisdom, and the elimination of ignorance.
