Micah Parsons Gets Back on Track

Micah Parsons gets back on track

Micah Parsons had a sensational rookie season in 2021, winning NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year and making the First Team All-Pro team. However, he’s struggled to replicate that success in his second season, leading to some concerns that he may be regressing.

However, there are signs that Parsons is getting back on track. In the Cowboys’ Week 8 win over the Chicago Bears, he had 10 tackles, two sacks, and a forced fumble. It was his best performance of the season, and it came at a time when the Cowboys needed it most.

There are a few reasons why Parsons may have struggled early in the season. First, he’s playing a new position. In his rookie season, he played outside linebacker. However, this year, he’s been playing inside linebacker. This is a more challenging position, and it takes time to adjust.

Second, Parsons has been dealing with injuries. He missed two games earlier in the season with a groin injury. He’s also been dealing with a knee injury, but he’s been able to play through it.

Despite his struggles, Parsons remains a valuable player for the Cowboys. He’s still one of the most versatile and athletic defenders in the NFL. He’s also a leader on the defense, and he’s always looking for ways to improve.

If Parsons can stay healthy, he should be able to continue to improve and become one of the best defenders in the NFL. He’s already shown flashes of his potential, and he’s still only 23 years old.
