Olympic medalists’ coaches each receive $1.25 million (about $16,000 USD), $1 million (around $13,000 USD), and 0.75 million (roughly $9,400 USD).
National levels
As of 2021, the Indian government would provide gold medalists 7.5 million rupees ($94,000), silver medalists 5 million rupees ($63,000), and bronze medalists 3 million rupees ($38,000).
State and union territory levels
Olympians who compete at the state or territorial level are given financial prizes in varied amounts based on where they are from.
